IT WAS A CASE THAT GRIPPED THE NATION. LUKE RYDER’S MURDER HAS NEVER BEEN SOLVED.

In October 2003, Luke Ryder was found dead in the garden of the family home in London, leaving behind a wealthy older widow and three stepchildren. Nobody saw anything.

Now, secrets will be revealed – live on camera.

Years later a group of experts re-examine the evidence on Infamous, a true-crime show – with shocking results. Does the team know more than they’ve been letting on? Or does the truth lie closer to home?

Can you solve the case before they do? The truth will blow your mind.”

My Thoughts..

This book has been raved about all over TikTok and Instagram so I knew I had to pick it up and BOY am I glad I did! This book is not written in the typical style you would normally read, it is written like a TV documentary. I absolutely loved this type of writing style as it made this so fast-paced which I just couldn’t put down.

I love a book that can keep me guessing and this one did exactly that. I felt like I could trust no one throughout this book, even the characters (experts) who were brought in specifically to try and solve the case. It has lots of mixed media from pictures, blog threads, news articles etc which really added to this type of writing style.

As with any murder mystery, there were lots of little twists throughout but I definitely did not see the ending coming! When I read this originally I gave this book 3 stars but thinking back now I probably should’ve gave it ⭐⭐⭐⭐. I think Cara Hunter made the right choice choosing this type of writing style as it really elevated the whole premise of the book.

If you’re in the need of a good murder mystery read then I would definitely recommend giving this one a go!

*This book was published by Harper Collins.*
