Whether you’re deep in your reading era or just looking for your next favourite book, there’s nothing quite like falling down the rabbit hole of BookTube! Over the last couple of years, I’ve found a few creators whose videos feel like catching up with a friend who just gets it. Whether I’m in a reading slump or flying through my TBR, these are the BookTubers I always come back to. So, if you’re looking for wholesome (and a times funny) content, honest reviews, and major reading inspo, here are my top 5 favourite BookTubers to watch.

Gavin Reads It All #1 – 103k subscribers
From the UK, Gavin has to be my all-time favourite booktuber to watch! Gavin’s videos are both genuine and entertaining and entertaining to watch. Gavin brings his personality into everything—from quirky TBR games to cosy reading sprints. When I watch Gavin’s videos it makes me feel like he is talking to me as a friend and 99% of the time I find myself smiling/laughing throughout this videos. Gavin reads a wide variety of genres which means you are sure to find something you’ll like on his channel. My favourite thing to watch of Gavin’s currently is his ‘Emboss or Toss’ series. Becca and the Books #2 – 53.6k subscribers
From the UK, Becca has to be my 2nd favourite booktuber to watch! Becca’s videos give me the ultimate cosy vibes whilst also being very honest and open. Becca is mostly a fantasy reader and I enjoy that a lot about her channel because she allows me to discover new books being a novice fantasy reader. Becca’s content feels relatable and authentic and I’m sure if you’re a big fantasy lover, you’ll definitely find something you like on her channel. My favourite thing to watch of Becca’s currently is her ‘Shelve It or Scrap It’ series. They have also inspired the hairstyle I have currently! (Becca’s channel)
megwithbooks #3 – 39.9k subscribers
From the UK, Meg is my 3rd favourite booktuber to watch! Meg’s channel leans into bookish joy, cats, memes, and a good sense of community. Watching Meg’s videos gives me a comforting vibe and 99% of the time I find myself laughing/smiling throughout her videos. Meg is mostly a mystery/thriller reader (but still reads a wide variety of genres) which I myself enjoy because I end up finding new recommendations through her channel. I’d definitely suggest checking out her channel as I’m sure you’ll find something you enjoy. My favourite thing to watch of Meg’s currently is their ‘TRB200’ series and ‘TBR Cluedo’ videos. MelReads #4 – 98k subscribers
From the United States, Mel is my 4th favourite booktuber to watch! Her channel is filled with cosy bookish content and thoughtful recommendations which I always enjoy when I’m looking for things to watch. Mel’s channel for me offers a comforting and enthusiastic corner of BookTube where she shares her reading journey with warmth, personality, and genuine appreciation for diverse genres. I would be surprised if you don’t find something you enjoy from her channel. My favourite thing to watch of Mel’s currently is her ‘Read It or Unhaul It’ series. (Mel’s channel)
Steph Loves #5 – 10.7k subscribers
*note: she does swear a lot on her channel – I personally don’t mind this but if that bothers you then maybe steer clear.* From the UK, Steph is my 5th favourite booktuber to watch! Steph to me, is an enthusiastic and relatable BookTuber. I feel like Steph is probably a little like marmite-you either love her personality or you hate it. Me personally, I’m here for it! I enjoy the fact that she reads from a variety of different genres. There is usually a lot of videos that I end up watching of hers. I would definitely suggest checking her out so that you can make up your own mind about whether she is a booktuber for you. My favourite thing to watch of Steph’s currently is her ‘Keep It or Yeet It’ series. (Steph’s channel)
