Seeing as it’s Tuesday, I thought I would do a little TBR Tuesday post!
If there’s one part of my TBR that never seems to shrink, it’s the romance section. I don’t know what it is—maybe it’s the slow burns, the banter, the swoony moments, or just the pure comfort these stories bring—but I keep adding more and more to the list.
Some of these books have been sitting on my shelf giving me heart-eyes for months, while others are recent finds I couldn’t resist. No matter how long they’ve waited, each book practically begs me to read it. So I thought I’d share a peek at the romance reads on my TBR right now… Who knows, you might find your next favourite love story in the mix.
The Fault in Our Stars by John Green – This is one of the oldest books I have on my TBR. I don’t know why I keep putting it off… I’ve already watched the movie and really enjoyed it, so I feel I should have read the book by now.
Holding the Reins by Paisley Hope – A recent addition to the TBR that I’m very excited to get to! A follower on Instagram kindly gifted me this, and I need to read it ASAP. Ever since reading the Chestnut Springs series by Elsie Silver, I’ve got taste for a good small town romance.
The Switch by Beth O’Leary – I picked this one up purely because I’ve read from O’Leary before and have enjoyed her books. My sister really likes this one and said I should read it… It’s not one I’m rushing to pick up though just yet. I do need to try and prioritise it otherwise it’s going to keep gathering dust.
Off to the Races by Elsie Silver – I picked this one up as soon as I’d finished reading her Chestnut Springs series. This one has high priority on my TBR because I absolutely love her writing.
Baby Be Mine by Paige Toon – I have had this one on my TBR for ages but have only recently got round to reading the first one in this duology. Now that I have, maybe I can get to this one very soon. It would complete a series which is great for me because I have WAY too many I’m in the middle of.
What If I Never Get Over You by Paige Toon – I am ashamed to admit I haven’t read this one yet. It literally got released this year and would’ve been perfect to read during this summer… However, time is now running out and I’ve been struggling with getting out of a book slump. Maybe summer 2026 will be the time this gets read.
A Song of Me and You by Mike Gayle – I’ll be honest, I’m very apprehensive to read this book. I’ve read a book by Mike Gayle before and I did not enjoy it. I think that’s why this one keeps getting pushed back. If you’ve read it, please convince me why I should…
My Rock Star Neighbor by Kathy Strobos – This is a recent addition to the TBR. I will be reading this one in October as I am taking part in an upcoming blog tour for it.
