September was an even slower reading month for me—the month was packed with birthdays, a lovely weekend away in York, and I got engaged! Amid all this craziness, I only managed to read three books, but that’s still better than nothing 🙂

Pages read: 754
No Dream Impossible by Nigel May (BLOG TOUR) – Started: 28th August – Finished: 2nd September.
This is a standalone book that I read as an eBook for a tour here on my blog. Once I got into it, I read it quickly, and I had a really fun time. It is a murder mystery comedy with big Eurovision vibes throughout.
Delicious in Dungeon Vol 5 by Ryoko Kui – Started: 19th September – Finished: 19th September.
This is book #5 in Delicious in Dungeon manga series which I read physically. By the middle of the month, I was falling behind in my reading, so I knew I needed something quick to help me catch up. Fortunately, this did exactly that. Moreover, I’m still really enjoying this series and, as a result, have nine books left to finish it.
Shady Hollow by Juneau Black – Started: 22nd September – Finished: 25th September.
This is book #1 in the Shady Hollow series which I read physically. I had this bought as a birthday present and I knew I had to read it straight away. A cosy village full of animals becomes the setting for this murder mystery. I flew through this book and I cannot wait to continue on with the series. What a great book to end the month on!

Although it wasn’t my best reading month, I’m still happy that I managed to read three books despite such a busy schedule. Plus, I’m still on track with my reading goal—just three more to go until I hit it!
What was your best read for September? Are you on track to reach your reading goal?
