When I asked my friends over on my Bookstagram what I had to read in 2026, they understood the assignment. What followed was a flood of thoughtful, passionate recommendations—each one picked just for me. These twelve books make up part of my 2026 reading list, and I can’t wait to see which ones become new favourites. I have no idea what month I’ll be reading what books in… just going to let my mood decide as I go. This post is a love letter to those recommendations: the stories, genres, and voices that will shape my reading year ahead.
